Here's some examples of the design work that I did while working at my current job at Travelling Through. We are a bookshop and café so there were a few printed marketing necessary for the business. Instead of having a business card for the shop I designed bookmarks to give to every customer who bought a book or was just looking for more information.  Being larger than a business card I was able to put all contact details, websites, address etc on the bookmark.

This is a newer version as we noticed some customers were taking the book mark and folding it in half. With this version the design is better for folding yet keeping all the information clear. The multi coloured bar stripes are mirrored colours from the website. 

A loyalty card is also important for a café business. Just the necessary information is on the card keeping it clean and clear.

I also designed a label sticker to put on our paper bags when a customer purchased a book.

Guy Fawkes

    Remember remember the 5th of November....

I am delighted to say that I have an exhibition taking place at Travelling Through... Bookshop, Café, Culture Hub and Artspace for the month of November. This is my first exhibition in London.
Private View tomorrow, Friday 6th November, 6.30-8.30pm. Come for a drink and say hi!

The photo above is of the shop window today. It being Guy Fawkes we thought it would be appropriate to have my fireworks prints in full view for passers by. The photographs were taken at last years displays in Brockwell Park and Alexandra Palace.

I tried the technique of long exposure and changing the focus while the shutter is open. It creates some interesting effects. All these shots have been created in camera.

Glyphs - Out To Sea

Brief - To create an interesting music video for the London based band Glyphs for their upcoming EP.

I was involved in the creative process of planning the music video. The band wanted to do something different from their past videos and to feature both members of the band. We decide to use timelapse, quick editing and a bit of humor to add to the fun and pop element to the song.

The video was premiered on Clash.

Steve Horner Showreel

Brief - To produce a showreel that gives a quick impression of Steve Horner’s portfolio, highlighting hero projects and household name clients.

Edited this showreel using Steve Horner's past design and digital work. Produced After Effects compositions to best showcase particular projects designed for iPad and iPhone formats.
