The photos were taken with my Fed 5B camera (an old russian camera). They were taken around my Grandads house which is very old and falling apart. There are lots of interesting decaying machinery, doors and roofs around the house. Hopefully I'll get to print off a few more shots from the negatives next week.

Black and White Prints
I started doing a night course in photography where we develop our own black and white film. We were doing prints form our first roll of film today and was really interesting. There's a lot of trial and error and testing before you develop your final photograph. I printed two pictures tonight.

Wedding Portraits
These are some of the portraits of family the day of the wedding and the day after. There were kite surfers on the beach the next day. Never seen anything like it so it was really fascinating.

Unofficial Wedding Photographer
My cousin got married at the on October 1st and she asked me to be the Unofficial Photographer. I was taking the candid and less posed natural shots. It was great fun. The wedding took place at the beautiful Inchydoney Hotel right on the raw and refreshing atlantic ocean. Fantastic location and a surfers haven.
Also I took a few shots with my Lomo LC-A but none of the shots came out; the battery was gone without me knowing....

Knockadoon Castle
For another of the Lomo LC-A race I took pictures of Knockadoon Castle that's near my parents house in east Cork. They were taken in the evening time and the light was really nice. In the last photo my uncle was fishing off the rocks with his dog looking on eagerly for a stray fish.

Lomo LC-A Race
I was involved in the Lomo LC-A race that took place last year. The Lomo LC-A is the founding camera of the Lomographic Society International so for it's 25th anniversary it held a competition comprising of 10 international teams each with 10 team members. I was lucky enough to be apart of a team. My team was Euroteam 1 which had members from the UK, Denmark, Belgium and Ireland (me!). The idea of the race was for people to have the chance to experience the camera for 2 weeks, take as many photos with the camera as physically possible and then send it to the next team member. At the end of your two weeks you had to upload all your photos, show different the locations you visited with your camera and write a little piece about them. I shot a few places in Cork like the Cliffs near my house and some places in the Cork city. I also went to the Aran Islands during my 2 weeks and shot lots of photos with the camera. I was fun and I really enjoyed it. The Competition as yet isn't finished but check out the Lomo website site here. Have a scan through the race details if you really want here. I'll post some of the shots I took during the race some time.
